Program in Public Finance - DEA de Finances Publiques
Objectives
Mastering public finance represents a major stake
in today’s society and an essential challenge for times to
come. All countries and all institutions are now concerned by this
imperative, which drives them to bring about deep changes in their
financial institutions. Because of this, the already highly considerable
need for specialists, researchers, teachers and practitioners in
this field can only grow. This is why the objective of the DEA is
to offer high level training bearing on different aspects of this
discipline and including the study of the finances of the State,
local communities, social security and the European Union.
Organization
The Université de Paris I Panthéon
Sorbonne and Paris-Sud join forces to direct and guide and direct
DEA research in public finance. They are actively supported by the
major concerned public finance institutions: The French Ministry
of Economy, Finance and Industry (General Tax Office, Public Accounting
General Office, Budget Office, Financial Inspection Office, Office
of Personnel and Modernisation of Administration, Communication
Office), the French Court of Auditors, the European Court of Auditors,
the European Union Committee of the Regions. A piloting committee
